So I've been watching "Once Upon a Time"--I was hooked from episode one. It's fun, watching all the fairytales twisted around. And it's well written, and I like the characters... anyway, I find myself lusting after Robert Carlyle, who plays Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin. And I can understand why I do so when he's in an outfit like this:



But can someone please explain why I also find him ridiculously attractive when he's made up like this?

Err... there's some part of your childhood you've blocked out? Did you really like the Freddy Kruger movies? ;-P

Actually, I never watched any of the "Nightmare" movies (or "Friday the 13th" or "Halloween").

I'm really not quite sure what makes Carlyle attractive to me; he's not what you'd call conventionally handsome, after all... though I've never really been one for convention. I suppose if I sat down and analyzed the men I've found attractive over the years, I'd find some common features... but I'd have a hell of a time trying to analyze without drooling. ;-)
